GOING FOR A TIE

Nobody wins them all. The opposition may just be lucky OR the audience a bunch of complete dimwits. Hence you cannot expect to win them all. Suppose you have counter-attacked as much as you could, and suppose you have tried to win but you simply cannot achieve a decissive and clear-cut victory, then what do you do? You go for a tie!

1. Do not admit defeat.

2. True by definition.

3. Forestalling disagreement
opponent agrees

4. Invitation
search for truth (opponent)
