FACE-TO-FACE-DEBATE

There are some special things to keep in mind if you are engaged in a face-to-face debate, cross-examinations of your opponents, or the give and take of common discussions.

There are three aims in any face-to-face debate, first, and foremost, you are trying to elicit a contradiction from your opponent; second, you are trying to embarrass opposition publicly; third, you are trying to convince the audience of your proficiency.

Monitor and control inputs rather than simply inspect outputs. Continuous coursework and assessment rather than end of the year exams.
