1. Successful innovation is not about ideas, it's about the implementation of ideas.

2. Innovation is about motivation, and the reward model must be clear.

3. Dedicated team focus is strictly on developing innovation.

4. Defining skills makes role clear.

5. Create a separate physical space for dedicated team.

6. Don't over commit to the original plan. Empower your team to move in a new direction as soon as evidence suggests that it's wise to do so.

7. Embrace the uncomfortable. With a clear vision, comfort levels increase as success becomes tangible.
