Epistemology (Knowledge)
Epistemology is a word first used by the Scottish philosopher, James Frederick Ferrier to describe the branch of philosophy concerned with the theory of knowledge.  It examines the nature of knowledge and how one can acquire it.

Especially with regards to its (1) methods, (2) validity, and (3) scope.  Epistemology is the investigation of what distinguishes justified belief from opinion.

A branch of philosophy that investigates the (1) origin, (2) nature, (3) methods, and (4) limits of human knowledge.
Truths     Knowledge     Beliefs

Axiology (Value) Aesthetics
The study of the (1) nature, (2) types, and (3) criteria of values and of (4) of value judgments especially in ethics

Ontology (Information Science) Being
A branch of metaphysics concerned with the (1) nature and (2) relations of being.
